About Us
The Bulloch County Islamic Center, also known as the Shaikh Zayed Mosque, serves the Muslim community in Statesboro and the surrounding areas. It was established in 1990 by a group of Georgia Southern University students and professors. The center is primarily Sunni and offers services in English.
Our motivation behind starting this organization was to provide a dedicated place of worship and community gatherings for Muslims in Statesboro and to foster a sense of belonging and unity among the community.
